Collection No.02

Withheld in nature, we're bonded by where we come from, what we see, what we feel; how we grow up, how we perceive the world around us.

Virginia Jirash was drawn to create this collection inspired by Mexico's natural scenery, and its traditional elements, as it became a reminiscence of her childhood, and an influence to portray the beauty of life's cycles.

Inspired by it's transitory seasons, like it's culture exhibiting distinctive colors; never ending transformation, confirming the ephemerality of life.

Collection number two is meant to honour Mexican heritage, traditions, and  culture which are embedded in these pieces from beginning to end -from inspiration, to working with a group of highly skilled people who have been working in the silversmithing business in Mexico from generations and generations, making everything by hand.

Photograph backdrop by Mexican Photographer, Manuel Alvarez Bravo, (1902-2002).
